George C. Khury, faithful Catholic and parishioner of
St. Eugene’s Parish in Yonkers, N.Y. passed away on December 17, 2012
Esteemed Professional Engineer George Carlos Khury, a resident of Yonkers, New York for 26 years, was surrounded by his loving family when he passed away at the age of 59 after a 16 month battle with stomach cancer.
George graduated from the School of Engineering of Manhattan College in 1976, and for almost two decades, he was a dedicated professional serving the Tri-State area. As Senior Vice President and Partner at B&H Engineering, PC, he continued to lead his team days before he passed away. George held his professional engineering license (CODIA) from the University UCMM in the Dominican Republic and the State of New York.
George came to the United States at the age of 9 from his birth place of Puerto Plata, Dominican Republic.
Well respected entrepreneur parents, Carlos J. Khury (deceased) and Dulce De La Cruz, were his inspiring role models.
George’s legacy of love, compassion, affection, hard work, and dedication will eternally live in his wife, Caridad; his children, Anntricia, Charles, and George; his daughters-in-law, Celina, Dinna, and Lorraine; his granddaughter, Alexa; his sisters, Maria and Lidia; and his mother, Dulce.
He will be missed by everyone who crossed his path.
